Some advice from one of the top Hispanic businesswomen in the United States:
"Seek advice from people who seem knowledgeable and experienced. Seek as much advice as you need from as many people as you need to get full answers. You may learn quite a bit in the process. Do not go into your
own cocoon. You will have learned a lot from discussing your ideas and your needs with many people, even if in the end your proposal was not a good one. Keep trying. Keep tweaking the proposal.
"Never give up. It took me more than three years of dedicated work and more than fifty presentations to potential investors to find the capital to launch our firm 20 years ago. People would say it would not work, or good luck but I am not interested. Along the way, I refined my business plan.
