In addition to mentor and program support, the young woman finds a peer group that shares her aspirations to make a difference in the world. Throughout the Summit each young woman is developing personal friendships that bridge cultural, ethnic, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. These young women today will build "the old girls'" network of tomorrow, a network that crosses borders as they seek together to develop solutions for world problems.
